Are you hungry for change?
Do you seek purpose, meaning, connection, or leadership? Are you passionate about making a difference in the unequal world around you?
If so, you are not alone. We recognise that many women in the UK have the same hunger.
The Unleashed Women Leadership Fund is the first women’s movement in the UK that actively works to eradicate global chronic hunger by 2030. It aims to feed the hunger that holds us back from being empowered to end the inequality women across the world still face.
By bringing hundreds of dynamic, inspirational, motivated women together, we will embark on a collaborative and challenging journey of self-discovery and leadership development, that is designed to open your eyes to possibility, and unlock your potential to change our world.

AROUND THE WORLD
Razia was denied a complete education because she was a girl and was forced to marry at 14.
The Hunger Project gave her opportunities to learn about leadership and how to start an organic fertiliser business.
Since then, Razia has gone on to become economically independent and has enough income to support her children whilst also encouraging other women in her community to achieve the same.
Although Razia could not complete her own education, she now goes beyond ensuring the education of her own children by serving as an advocate and model for the rest of her community to place value on the education of girls.
She believes “every woman should be skilled and economically self-reliant… Otherwise, the problems of women could never be solved…”
Why Are Women The Key To Ending Hunger?
60% of the world’s hungry are women
If women farmers had the same access to resources as men, the number of hungry in the world could be reduced by up to 150 million
Whilst the figures speak for themselves, The Hunger Project has always believed that women are the key to creating change for the future of girls and gender equality in regions affected by chronic hunger and poverty.
Women bear almost all responsibility for meeting the basic needs of the family, yet are systematically denied the resources, information, a voice in decision making and freedom of action they need to fulfill this responsibility.
Therefore, when empowered, they can achieve extraordinary results in catalysing new and brighter futures for their children and their communities. This will bring us closer to meeting the UN’s 17 Global Goals for sustainable development and ending world hunger by 2030.
